Specifically matched to the XB8 series, the XRAY 358225 Aluminum Rear Shock Body is engineered for demanding off-road use. Swiss 7075 T6 construction and exact CNC work make these units durable while allowing fine suspension tuning.

Longer Stroke and Tighter Control

The 2mm extended length improves shock action over rough ground. Sized with an 18.5mm outer diameter and 16.0mm inner diameter, these oversized shocks offer improved impact absorption and chassis stability. External fine threads provide easy and precise spring preload adjustments for varied terrain.

Quality Manufacturing and Protective Finish

Components are turned on precision German CNC machines to maintain consistent tolerances. XRAY's automated hardcoating process applies a titanium-colored finish that resists wear and adds a professional look to your XB8 suspension.

The extra 2mm length can slightly affect static ride height and shock travel. You may need to fine tune mounting positions or spring preload to restore your preferred setup.
The internal bore matches common big-bore specifications, but confirm piston size and seal compatibility with your current shock internals before assembly.
Clean with a soft brush and mild cleaner after dusty or muddy runs, inspect threads and seals regularly, and avoid harsh chemicals that could affect the coating.
