Durable steel clutch bell for vintage racing

Manufactured from HUDY Gear Steel, the XRAY 358526 16T Clutch Bell is aimed at hobbyists restoring or racing vintage models. The premium steel and precise machining help keep tooth wear to a minimum so the bell stays true through many sessions.

Large 5x12x4mm bearings for added capacity

Rather than the small 5x10mm type, this bell accepts oversized 5x12x4mm ball-bearings developed by XRAY. Their heavier construction and 2.0mm balls improve load endurance and reduce the frequency of bearing swaps.

Enhanced hardness plus performance grease

A specific heat treatment process raises the clutch bell's toughness for better resistance to stress. Bearings are supplied with a temperature-tolerant grease to maintain reliable rotation under race conditions.

Choice of tooth counts for setup flexibility

Available tooth options include 15T, 16T, 17T, and 18T so you can select the ratio that suits track layout and motor torque for vintage competition.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Ensure the housing and shaft support the larger 5x12x4mm bearings and use the correct spacers. The stronger bearings will need proper seating to deliver the expected load benefit.
The 16T bell is commonly paired with mid-range pinions for a balance of acceleration and top speed; match pinion size to track length and the motor's power curve.
With the oversized bearings you can usually extend service intervals, but inspect them after heavy events and replace if you notice roughness or play.
Run the bell at moderate RPM for a short session after fitting to allow the grease to bed in, then recheck for proper seating and smooth spin.
