Durable Clutch Bell Built for XB Classics

The XRAY 358528 18T Clutch Bell is made from HUDY Gear Steel, chosen for dependable toughness and consistent wear resistance. It is aimed at improving the clutch behaviour of vintage XB series vehicles.

Bearing Upgrade Details

The unit fits oversized 5x12x4mm ball-bearings to better handle torque and reduce bearing fatigue. Thicker race walls and larger 2.0mm balls increase durability under sustained running.

Strengthened by Heat Treatment

A precise heat treatment hardens the clutch bell to withstand recurring stress. The supplied high-temp grease keeps parts moving freely and helps prevent premature wear during longer sessions.

Range of Tooth Options

This clutch bell is offered in several tooth counts including 15T, 16T, 17T and 18T so you can match gearing to your motor and track conditions.

A high-temperature grease is included and is suitable for these bearings. Re-grease periodically, especially after wet or dusty running, to keep performance steady.
The part is designed for vintage XB series layouts. Some later component variants may differ in shaft diameter or spacer layout so check measurements before fitting.
Improved bearing support reduces wobble and uneven wear, which can cut down on slippage related to bearing-induced misalignment. Proper shoe adjustment is still essential.
