Maintain Airflow with the XRAY 358840 Foam and Oil

The XRAY 358840 Air Filter Foam & Oil Kit includes both inner and outer foam filters along with a small tube of specially formulated oil for foam filters. The twin-foam design captures grit while allowing consistent airflow to the engine, and the oil helps trap finer contamination. Keep this kit on hand for scheduled service intervals and when preparing your car for competition.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

How much oil should I apply to the foam?

Apply enough oil to evenly colour the foam without making it drip. Squeeze out any excess so the foam holds oil but does not become saturated.

Will this kit work with older foam filters?

The oil is formulated for foam filters; compatibility with older filter shapes depends on size and fit. Verify the physical dimensions before using on non-standard filters.

Any storage tips after cleaning?

After cleaning and drying, apply a light coat of oil and store the filter in a sealed bag or container to keep dust out until the next run.
