High Precision Steel Shock Bushings

Fit XRAY 368041 bushings to your XB4 shocks for a cleaner, longer lasting joint between piston and cap. These steel bushings are precision machined to sit flush in aluminium shock caps, reducing unwanted movement and helping the damper perform more consistently. Supplied as a matched pair, they are aimed at builders wanting durable, low-maintenance components for racing or club runs.

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Which XB4 variants work with these bushings?

These bushings are designed for the XRAY XB4 family and will fit standard aluminium shock caps used on those models. Check your cap spec if it is a third party unit.

Will they change ride feel on road surfaces?

The steel inserts stabilise the shock top, which can tighten turn-in and improve feedback over bumps by reducing play at the mounting point.

Do these need special maintenance after fitting?

Routine inspection is enough. Keep the cap bore clean and check for wear during shock servicing; a light smear of compatible grease can reduce noise.
