Precision 6.0mm Hex Ball Ends for X12

If you run XRAY X12 platforms and want reliable steering components, the XRAY 373244 6.0mm Hex Ball End is a solid upgrade. Forged from Hudy spring steel for consistent spring-back and resistance to deformation, these ball ends give repeatable contact with moulded composite ball joints. The internal hex profile creates a snug, predictable fit that helps keep steering response sharp on technical layouts.

Will these fit aftermarket composite ball cups?

They are sized for the standard XRAY X12 composite ball joints and will work with many aftermarket cups that follow the same spec, but check the tolerances and clearances before committing to a race setup.

Are these suitable for mixed on-road and club racing use?

Yes, they are ideal for on-road X12 geometry and club racing. If you use them off-road expect faster wear and inspect more often for grit and abrasion.

Do I need any special tools to fit them?

A correct-sized hex driver and standard ball-end pliers are usually enough. Use the right driver to avoid rounding the hex cavity and tighten to a firm hand feel rather than excessive torque.
