10.8mm Countersunk Mount Details

This RC aluminium mounting block is produced to a 10.8mm spec and comes as a pair with a black finish. The countersunk face is designed to accept flush screw heads and to avoid interference when used with thinner chassis panels.

Ideal for replacing worn mounting points or when revising chassis layouts that demand a compact fixing. The countersunk geometry helps align the screw during fitment and keeps the screw head seated to limit movement at the mounting interface.

Fitting advice: use the original mounting screws or equivalent countersunk hex screws, clean mating surfaces before assembly, and check screw tension carefully to prevent stress to the aluminium around the countersunk area. This part is for RC car chassis mounting and tuning adjustments only.

How tight should I set the mounting screws?
