You can adapt it to other chassis if dimensions are close to the X1. Check clearance at the wheels and mount points, and be prepared to trim or relocate mounting holes if needed.

Is the XRAY 379701 easy to repair?

Minor scuffs can be fixed with heat and reshaping; deep cracks usually require a replacement panel. The 0.75mm Lexan gives some give before permanent damage, but keep a spare for heavy impacts.

Which paints work best on this shell?
