The XRAY 382023 Aluminum Motor Holder provides a firmer, more accurate motor location for the M18 PRO. Fabricated from 7075 T6 aluminium, the part is built to resist deformation while keeping mass to a minimum. It is well suited to micro stock and brushless motor setups, offering improved stability and repeatable positioning lap after lap.

The holder supports common motor can sizes used in micro and modified classes, but check shaft and spacer requirements to maintain correct pinion engagement.

7075 T6 aluminium conducts heat away from the motor bracket better than plastics, which can aid cooling slightly, although motor ventilation remains the main factor.

Is installation difficult for a hobbyist?

Basic hand tools are all that are needed. Align the motor, set gear mesh carefully and tighten screws progressively to avoid distortion.
