M18 track tuned micro ESC

The XRAY 389180 XMC180 Micro Speed Controller is crafted for the XRAY M18, offering compact SMD construction with integrated reverse and proportional braking. It includes a BEC to stabilise receiver and servo voltage when running approved stock motors.

Essential micro racing capabilities

Engineered for consistent throttle and brake response, the XMC180 supports 4-5 cell NiMH or NiCd input between 4.8V and 6.0V. Continuous current is rated up to 3.6A with brief peaks to 27A, and the onboard BEC supplies 5V at 0.5A for small servos and radio gear.

Specifications

  • Input Power: 4-5 cell NiMH or NiCd packs (4.8V - 6.0V)
  • Min. Resistance: 0.138 Ω / 7.5V
  • Max. Resistance: 0.206 Ω / 6V
  • Continuous Current: Up to 3.6A continuous
  • Peak Current: 27A for 0.05 sec
  • PWM Frequency: 1900 Hz
  • BEC Output: 5V / 0.5A
  • Temperature Range: 0-40 C (32-72 F)

Best suited to hobbyists running XRAY M18 stock motor classes, the XMC180 provides compact, predictable control for tight micro circuits.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
No. Using modified or oversized motors risks blowing the ESC due to higher current draw. Stick to approved micro stock motors.
Basic settings are handled internally for reliable stock-class performance. For advanced programming needs check compatible external programmers or manufacturer notes.
Keep NiMH/NiCd packs properly charged and balanced, avoid deep discharge, and inspect connectors regularly to reduce voltage drop and heat at the ESC.
The BEC provides 5V at 0.5A which is suitable for small standard servos. High-current digital servos may require an independent power source.
