XRAY Ceramic Thrustbearing for Smoother Differentials

The XRAY 930250 Ceramic Axial Thrustbearing at 5x10x4mm is built to deliver smoother rotation and better durability in ball differentials. It features Si3N4 silicone nitride ceramic balls that are selected for high hardness and resilience.

Why Ceramic Improves Driveability

Ceramic balls reduce rolling friction and damp vibration compared to steel, which helps the differential run cooler and respond more predictably. Their hardness contributes to longer service life under racing loads.

Applications and Setups

This part is ideal for racers and serious hobbyists who want consistent differential behaviour. It performs well whether you are dialling in handling for competition or aiming for repeatable lap times on mixed surfaces.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
You may notice reduced stickiness and crisper response; minor adjustments to grease or oil viscosity can help you fine tune feel and traction.
Ceramic balls are very hard but can be more brittle than steel; they perform excellently in controlled loads but avoid severe shock loading to prevent damage.
Use a compatible lubricant recommended for ball differentials; some users prefer thinner oils to maximise RPM and smoothness with ceramic balls.
