Why Fit These Bearings

These units are chosen to decrease drivetrain drag while shielding internals from debris. The larger ball count increases bearing life and stability under cornering and acceleration compared with entry-level bearings.

Will the seals stop fine dust from entering?

The rubber seals significantly reduce dust ingress but are not completely dust proof; regular cleaning will still extend service life.

Do they improve acceleration feel?

Lower friction from precision bearings can give a crisper throttle response and smoother drivetrain feedback, especially on tuned XB2 setups.

Is special grease required after cleaning?

After cleaning, use a light bearing oil similar to the original AeroShell Fluid 12. Heavy greases can reduce free spin and are not recommended for these bearings.
