Included are four composite shock pistons designed for XRAY T4 damper bodies, each with a three-port arrangement and a 1.2mm main aperture, provided as 4 pcs. They let you refine damper flow without altering the damper body or shaft components.
Swapping these pistons adjusts bleed area and oil movement to influence low-speed and mid-speed damping. The composite build keeps piston geometry stable under normal hobby loads, and the 3-hole pattern helps moderate rebound speed while supporting steady compression control for T4 setups.
To fit, remove the damper shaft and piston assembly from the damper body, replace the piston with the preferred bleed pattern, confirm adequate sealing with your chosen shock oil, then reassemble. Verify the shaft operates smoothly and is free of binding before using on the track.
These pistons are intended as tuning pieces for compatible T4 damper bodies only; they are not for non-matching dampers. Carry spare pistons when testing to compare different valving choices easily.
