How hard is this to fit on the X12?

Installation is straightforward for someone familiar with X12 rear assembly. Standard tools are sufficient and the hub installs in place of the original right-side hub.

Will the coating withstand regular track use?

The black finish is intended to resist normal wear, but like all anodised or coated parts it will gradually show scuffs under heavy use. It still protects the aluminium from corrosion and abrasion.

Does this change handling characteristics?

By reducing unsprung weight and tightening fitment, this hub can make the rear end feel more responsive, especially during quick direction changes and acceleration out of corners.
