The XRAY X1'20 Graphite Top Deck 2.5mm is designed to help model car builders quickly tailor chassis flex for different surface conditions. Its straightforward design makes changes fast at the track.

Steering Response via Deck Tension

When the top deck nut is tightened, longitudinal flex is removed, giving crisper steering response ideal for high-traction lanes or softer tyres. This setup improves front-end precision under throttle.

Balance for Medium and Low Traction

Loosening the nut creates balanced flex for medium grip tracks, trading a bit of immediate steering for stronger mid-corner control. Removing the deck entirely is useful on low-grip surfaces to boost rotation through corners.

Extra Mounting for Shock Adaptors

The deck includes a mounting hole for a shock adaptor to accept long-shock arrangements, allowing further suspension tuning without cutting or drilling the chassis.
