A 1/12 scale assembly plastic model kit representing the Yamaha YZR500 in the Ralph Anderson Baribari Legend SP339 configuration, designed for display and detailed finishing by experienced builders.
The Yamaha YZR500 represents Yamaha's high-performance 500cc two-stroke racing line developed for top-level Grand Prix competition. These 500cc prototypes were crafted for maximum speed and sharp handling on international circuits, driving advances in chassis and engine design under demanding racing conditions. The era highlighted both mechanical innovation and rider technique at high speeds.
Kit notes and historical context are presented separately. The model reproduces the machine at 1/12 scale and ships with a white body shell and white wheel components. Clear parts are included for the windscreen and light lenses where applicable. Rubber tyres are supplied to enhance authenticity. The moulded parts count is 171, and the finished model measures about 167mm long, 52mm wide and 95mm high. Paints and glue are not included.
Decal artwork and team identifiers reflect the Lucky Strike Team Roberts livery and the #44 rider identity as indicated in the original release. To achieve an accurate finish, plan for precise painting and careful application of decals. Assembly will require standard modelling adhesives and a suitable set of paints chosen to match the white components.
A highly detailed 1/12 scale kit for collectors and skilled modellers who value accurate period livery and a display-focused finish.
