Overview of the YD-4 front hub carrier

This Yokomo Y4-413 front steering hub carrier is produced as a direct replacement for YD-4 platform front steering setups. The set ships with one left and one right carrier supplied as individual pcs so you can swap out worn or damaged units quickly. Its form follows the YD-4 front geometry to keep steering alignment consistent after replacement.

Fitting is intended for hobbyists who have performed YD-4 series maintenance: remove the existing carriers, position the new left and right parts correctly, and reuse serviceable hardware and bearings where possible. Typical hobby hex drivers are all that are required; inspect nearby bearings and linkages as part of the routine check after installation.

Functionally this is a repair and maintenance component rather than a performance upgrade; fitting fresh carriers returns the chassis to its designed steering behaviour and helps maintain stable toe and camber under load.

Compatibility

  • DP-YD4
  • DP-YD4MR
  • MRTC-YD2
  • MRTC-YD2CK
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The set includes two pieces total: one left and one right front steering hub carrier, each provided as an individual pc for YD-4 series assemblies.
It fits the listed YD-4 family: DP-YD4, DP-YD4MR, MRTC-YD2, and MRTC-YD2CK. Confirm fitment against your chassis before ordering.
No special tools are required beyond common hobby hex drivers; however, a basic inspection of bearings and linkages after installation is recommended.
