Front steering block for YD-4 platforms

This steering block pair has been produced for the YD-4 range and is supplied as one left and one right item. It is intended as a like-for-like replacement for YD-4 based touring car projects and routine maintenance.

The parts support DP-YD4 and DP-YD4MR chassis formats and match the steering geometry used on those platforms. When fitted they form part of the front linkage, contributing to predictable steering behaviour and helping keep wheel alignment stable. Before swapping parts, check your linkage orientation and ball stud positions to preserve intended toe settings.

Installation is quick for those comfortable with chassis work: remove the hubs and the existing steering blocks, fit the new left and right blocks in their correct positions, then check that steering travel is free before final tightening. Complete a bench test to confirm both sides move without binding.
