Durable stainless king pins for Yeti XL

This stainless steel king pin set is a direct replacement for the Axial Racing Yeti XL steering assembly. The two-pin set replaces bent or worn king pins in the front knuckles, restoring correct alignment and reducing steering play while retaining the chassis geometry.

Stainless construction offers superior corrosion resistance and longer service life compared with softer stock pins, and a smooth finish helps keep steering inputs consistent. These pins are intended for the Yeti XL knuckle mounting points that use conventional king pins; verify the same hole spacing and pin diameter on your vehicle before installation.

Fitting advice: remove the front knuckles and steering linkage per your normal maintenance steps, drive out the old pins and press the new pins in straight to avoid binding. Recheck steering arc and toe settings after installation and make small adjustments when tightening linkages to maintain correct freeplay.

Packing includes

  • king pins - 2pcs

Original Name / Part No:

AX31073

They fit knuckles that use the same king pin diameter and mount spacing as the Yeti XL; some aftermarket knuckles use different pin systems, so confirm dimensions first.
The pack contains two pins. When pressing in, ensure the pin goes in square and do not over-tighten linkages to keep steering free movement.
Stainless pins are more wear resistant than stock pins, so they typically extend service life and reduce how often you need to replace worn steering components.
