7075-T6 Machined Servo Bracket

This machined 7075-T6 servo bracket is supplied as an aftermarket replacement for the YIKONG YK7081 TB8 1/8 4WD. Fabricated from heat-treated 7075-T6, the bracket offers a notable strength-to-weight advantage over molded plastic parts and arrives with an anodized surface to resist corrosion and wear.

The product ships with the listed fasteners and is intended to mirror the original part's mounting positions so alignment and servo placement are preserved. For durability during rough use, the manufacturer advises applying thread-lock to metal screws to prevent loosening from repeated vibration.

Installed as a maintenance or tuning upgrade, the bracket helps keep servo alignment stable when adjusting steering endpoints and trim. It is not a modification to servo electronics or gearing and is designed solely for RC-model use.

Yes. Heat-treated 7075-T6 provides higher tensile strength and better impact resistance than standard plastic mounts, which improves longevity under load and in rough driving conditions.
The anodized coating offers basic corrosion resistance; clean off salt and grime after wet runs and inspect fasteners regularly. Reapply anti-seize or light lubricant to threads if environment is corrosive.
While stronger than plastic, aluminum can deform under severe impact. The alloy improves resistance but is not indestructible; inspect for bends or cracks after heavy impacts.
