Upper deck designed to soften MSR-BD12 steering

This graphite upper deck is engineered for the Yokomo MSR-BD12 chassis family. By trimming 1.5mm from the standard thickness, local rigidity is lowered and steering characteristics become less abrupt and more controlled.

Practically, the reduced centre stiffness helps to temper twitchy behaviour and improves mid-corner weight transfer for drivers aiming for smoother balance. Confirm compatibility with MSR-BD12 or MSR-BD12A layouts before fitting.

Specifications

  • Item: Graphite upper deck

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is produced for MSR-BD12 and MSR-BD12A models. Double-check screw locations and any braces on your current chassis before installing to ensure direct fitment.
The deck is still graphite, but the reduced local thickness lowers stiffness. Operate with normal care; the change is intended for tuning handling rather than increasing impact resistance.
Installation requires standard RC maintenance tools. Inspect spacer heights and mounting screws for correct alignment with the MSR-BD12 variant you own.
Run comparative tests with the previous deck, adjusting only one parameter at a time and tracking consistency, understeer/oversteer balance, and steering smoothness.
