Design and application

This front belt tensioner set is an RC accessory intended for use with the BD7-2016 touring chassis to manage and refine front belt tension. The base is supplied in black anodised aluminium and the package contains mounting screws plus two 630 bearings for upgrading or swapping the stock tensioner parts. It is useful when consistent belt tension improves steering precision and vehicle balance during setup sessions.

As a tuning accessory rather than a load-bearing modification, check belt alignment and pulley seating during installation. The unit permits fine, repeatable changes to the front belt route that can alter handling traits on both carpet and asphalt tracks.
