The Yokomo B8-301FRBA Front Suspension Mount is a durable aluminium upgrade tailored for BD-series chassis. Fitting in place of the separate plastic components, it raises front-end rigidity to help produce cleaner steering inputs and more consistent lap-to-lap behaviour.

Changeable Pin Distance for Setup Flexibility

You can alter the suspension pin spacing by replacing the resin bush (B8-301BS?700), switching between the 43.5mm and 46.7mm positions. This lets you quickly test handling variations during practice sessions.

Broad BD Platform Compatibility

This front mount supports several Yokomo chassis types including MRTC-BD919, MRTC-BD8 and MRTC-BD10, making it a practical upgrade for drivers running multiple BD cars.

Does installing this require special tools?

Basic hand tools used for standard Yokomo assembly are sufficient. A small hex driver set and a fine screwdriver for the resin bush swap will cover installation.

Will this part change shock mounting or geometry?

The mount keeps the same shock mounting points but stiffens the front area; you may still want to tweak shock damping or spring rates to match the new feel.

Is this suitable for club racing?

Yes, many club racers fit this mount to gain more predictable steering and to make setup changes faster between heats.
