B-MAX2 steering bellcranks from Arrowmax AM-MAX2-002

The Arrowmax AM-MAX2-002 kit replaces the original plastic bellcranks with CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminium components finished in blue anodise. Targeted at the Yokomo B-MAX2, these parts boost longevity and shift the servo ballstud slightly to free up extra steering travel without changing the basic layout.

Fitment is plug-and-play for the B-MAX2 steering unit, using the same attachment points as the factory pieces. A set of standard hobby tools and careful measurement of ballstud height and linkage lengths are all that are required to maintain neutral toe and proper Ackermann effect.

Setup role: the aluminium bellcranks act as a sturdy steering pivot and are useful for regaining steering throw lost to worn parts or for fine tuning steering balance by altering ballstud offset.

Specifications

  • Item: Bellcrank set
  • Material: 7075-T6 anodized aluminum
  • Model Number: AM-MAX2-002
  • Compatibility: Yokomo B-MAX2

A direct aluminium upgrade for B-MAX2 owners who want a tougher steering pivot and a small but useful tuning lever via the adjusted ballstud position.

Yes, the 7075-T6 alloy offers greater strength than stock plastic and the anodise adds surface protection for regular track use.
The set uses the existing mounting hardware. Keep your original fasteners and check thread locker recommendations for steel bolts.
They do not change the base geometry, but the moved ballstud position gives more steering travel which can subtly affect Ackermann behaviour depending on linkage setup.
After fitting, check steering sweep for binding, verify neutral toe at rest, and test on low-speed runs before full-speed laps.
