Tight turn steering knuckle tailored to DP chassis

The Yokomo D-152-0 is a purpose-built narrow steering knuckle for RC suspension layouts. By shifting the kingpin axis toward the tread center while retaining track width, the block decreases scrub radius and creates a more balanced steering response. This allows sharper turning lines at larger steering angles without the tyre fouling the wheelarch, improving scale realism.

The part is intended to be used in conjunction with aluminium upper and lower A-arms. Proper installation on a DP chassis requires a special universal shaft and the specific arm adapters listed by the manufacturer. The D-152-0 employs a 0 degree kingpin; a 7 degree alternative is available as D-152-7.

If your build aims to refine steering geometry for sharper cornering and less tyre tuck, the D-152-0 is a compact upgrade; confirm adapter and shaft requirements before ordering.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Expect a reduction in scrub radius which can alter steering weight. You may need to fine tune toe and ackermann settings to restore preferred turn-in characteristics.
Yes, that is one of its benefits: by moving the kingpin closer to the tread centre, the tyre is less likely to contact the fender at extreme steering angles.
Durability depends on material and load conditions. Since the manufacturer does not specify material, inspect parts after heavy use and fit suitable reinforcements or choose matched-strength arms where needed.
Yes. Yokomo lists the D-152-7 as the 7 degree kingpin alternative for users seeking a different steering geometry and response.
