Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Many older and current Yokomo kits that list compatible models will accept the D-153-51A, though you should compare the 51mm length with your existing shaft to ensure correct fitment.
No special bearings are required; the shaft is intended to seat in the knuckle inner bearing used by the compatible chassis. Standard maintenance of those bearings will keep the shaft operating smoothly.
The 51mm dimension is chosen to match narrow steering configurations without altering track width when used with the correct steering blocks and hubs.
Clean the knuckle bearing, apply light lubricant, then slide the shaft in while checking for free rotation; avoid over-tightening fasteners that could bind the shaft.
