Accurate Rod End Adapter for Short Arm Setups

The Yokomo D-154-27A is a steel rod end adapter sized at 27mm (thread excluded) that helps racers get exact arm-to-arm parity. Its D-cut mating face and marked scale let you quickly set equal lengths on both sides, which is handy when refining steering and camber response.

Chassis Compatibility Notes

This part suits a variety of Yokomo YD chassis, such as the DP-YD2, DP-YD2G, DP-YD2PLS and DP-YD2EX. Use it when replacing worn rod ends or when upgrading to a more precise alignment method on YD-2/4 platforms.

With normal use the steel face is durable, but check contact surfaces during regular maintenance and replace if you notice excessive wear affecting measurement accuracy.

A simple digital caliper or a small ruler is enough to compare the scale marks on each adapter when setting identical arm lengths.

Can I use this with aftermarket turnbuckles?

As long as the threads and ball end dimensions match the YD-2/4 standard, the adapter will accept common aftermarket turnbuckle setups.
