Lightweight Rod End for A-Arm Conversions

The Yokomo D-156-27AA Aluminium 27mm Rod End Adapter is intended for YD-2 and YD-4 chassis modified to use A-arms. Its aluminium construction cuts weight compared with steel rod ends and helps the chassis settle faster during direction changes.

Designed for Wider Track and Stability

With a longer profile than typical kit rod ends, this adapter pairs well with aluminium lower A-arms. The extra length increases track width when used with resin arms, which aids stability and produces more predictable handling in high speed sections.

Compatibility Notes and Installation Tips

The adapter fits YD-2 and YD-4 A-arm conversions and is precision machined for a snug fit. Installation is straightforward using routine RC tools, and alignment checks after fitting will ensure the best handling outcome.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It works with aftermarket arms that follow the same mounting dimensions as the YD-2/YD-4 A-arm kits. Check hole spacing before fitting.
Applying a medium-strength thread locker to the fasteners is a good practice to prevent loosening during aggressive driving.
Most installs do not need extra shims, but measuring the arm-to-hub clearance before final tightening will help determine if shims are beneficial.
Keep mating surfaces clean and inspect for wear periodically; a light wipe and occasional re-torque of fasteners is usually enough.
