DPR Rear Shock Mount in Graphite

The Yokomo D-160 rear shock tower is supplied as an RC-scale graphite replacement tailored to DP-DPRA drift-package chassis arrangements. It provides the mounting points for rear shocks and linkages while helping control rear roll stiffness and the shock leverage curve.

Intended fitment is restricted to DP-DPRA chassis configurations only. The part ships in black graphite and is a direct-fit accessory for vehicles using the DPR rear drift layout. Do not attempt to adapt this tower to unrelated full-size machinery.

Installation notes: remove your existing rear shock tower, position the D-160 against the rear bulkhead and fasten with the original hardware. Confirm shock eyelet heights and link alignment before final tightening. Recheck fasteners and visually inspect the graphite after early running for any developing cracks.

Tuning role: fitting a graphite tower modifies local flex behavior and can yield steadier rear responses under drift loads, assisting in tuning body roll and shock leverage. Treat this upgrade as part of a step-by-step setup process.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Lifespan varies with use; moderate drift practice may see long service, but frequent heavy impacts will shorten life. Inspect regularly and replace when damage appears.
Look for hairline cracks that grow, delamination, or fractured mounting bosses. Any structural damage near shock mounts is a replacement trigger.
Small surface scratches can be smoothed, but do not attempt to structurally repair cracks. If stress lines are visible, fit a new tower.
