Yokomo D-185 Springs for Controlled Drift Performance

RC drivers seeking tighter control will find the Yokomo D-185 Drift Spring Set a useful upgrade. The four different spring types are engineered to refine chassis behaviour and stability, supplied in raw steel so users can paint or treat them to suit their build.

Progressive Coil Profile for Predictable Grip

The progressive coilform on these springs alters pitch mid-length to combine initial softness with increasing firmness under compression. This profile helps preserve ride height while providing compliant traction characteristics, making the springs effective on the rear. Mounted at the front, they smooth entry and improve steering clarity for cleaner drift lines.

Length and Wire Variants to Tailor Setup

Most springs are 26.5mm long with additional 28mm pieces included, and the set features 1.3mm wire diameter variants for convenient height maintenance. A linear-wound 1.5mm option is intended for front use to sharpen steering feel. These options give tuners straightforward choices when balancing turn-in and cornering stability.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are compatible with many 1/10 drift shock assemblies, but verify shock shaft and spring retainer dimensions before fitting.
As compression increases, a progressive spring stiffens, which helps resist bottoming and keeps the car stable through mid-corner loads.
Use 28mm for a touch more ride height and softer initial travel; 26.5mm suits lower stance setups where quicker weight transfer is desired.
