Responsive steering control for drift setups

The Yokomo DPP-302V4PB Racing Performer V4 Steering Gyro targets drifters who want predictable handling. Its quad system delivers four mode choices to match skill level and track type. The thin aluminium housing with gold-anodized edges keeps the unit tidy and easy to install.

Dual Gain and mode selection explained

With Dual Gain Mode and Dual Gain Control, the DPP-302V4PB gives flexible steering behaviour. A dip switch lets you choose ASSIST for stronger gyro correction to help with rear wheel drift control, or NOR for a more direct driver feel during competition runs.

Fine tuning with SOFT and HARD ranges

The Dual Gain Control adjusts from 0 to 100 across SOFT and HARD settings so you can refine initial reaction and overall steering sensitivity. Use SOFT to tame initial corrections on low-grip surfaces like carpet, and HARD to increase snap for larger layouts.

Slim case design and servo compatibility note

The redesigned slim case improves viewing and access to controls so small tweaks are simple trackside. This gyro is for digital servos only; analog servos are not recommended. It will default to 2-channel operation when linked to a 2-channel transmitter/receiver without a 3-channel input.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
SOFT mode pairs well with grippier front tyres on carpet or tile, as it smooths the gyro input and keeps the front end more settled.
Analog servos will not damage the gyro, but they may not respond correctly and could produce poor steering control compared with digital servos.
The thin case design improves switch access so you can change ASSIST and NOR modes or other settings without dismantling your model.
