D1 Heritage Recreated in Miniature: Yokomo DP-REA7

The Yokomo DP-REA7 recreates the RE-Amemiya machine campaigned by Masao Suenaga in the D1 Grand Prix. This 1/10 electric drift kit blends accurate scale looks with a chassis built for authentic drift behaviour on paved surfaces.

Chassis That Supports Controlled Slides

The MR-4TC SD CM platform provides a rugged base and a shaft-driven full-time 4WD system to keep power flowing to every wheel. Combined with solid front and rear axles, the package promotes predictable slides and stable drift transitions.

Adjustable Geometry for Track Tuning

Precision features include a fully adjustable double-wishbone suspension and threaded turnbuckle tie-rods for accurate alignment. The plastic shocks offer adjustable damping so you can tune response for different track conditions.

Faithful Bodywork and Drift Hardware

The kit reproduces RE-Amemiya styling, down to the aero mirrors and body cladding, and ships with ENKEI Racing GTC 01 wheels plus Yokomo "Zero One-R" super drift tyres to help achieve long slides and authentic scale presence.

No, the kit requires radio gear, motor, ESC, battery and a charger. It is supplied as a kit for builders who want to select their own electronics.

What surfaces are best for this drift kit?

Smooth asphalt or sealed carpark surfaces work best for consistent slides. Low-grip indoor surfaces are also suitable when using drift tyres.

Can I use carbon parts from other kits?

Some aftermarket carbon upgrades fit the MR-4TC SD CM chassis, but check dimensions and mounting points before purchasing to ensure compatibility.

Are replacement tyres and wheels available?

Yes, wheels and drift tyres compatible with the ENKEI Racing GTC 01 sizing can be sourced from aftermarket suppliers to alter grip and appearance.

What should I check during first setup?
