The Yokomo IB-414KB1A kingpin ball is made for RC A-arms such as DRB and DIB that need a slightly higher neck to correct geometry or avoid interference at extreme camber angles. The 1mm taller neck delivers a measured change to arm angle without modifying the arm itself.
The threaded section conforms to the 3mm ISO standard and pairs with aluminium steering blocks that use that thread. Install these when the stock ball base contacts the arm during aggressive camber or when you want to adjust upper/lower arm angles to sharpen steering feedback and tyre contact.
Fitting is straightforward: remove the original ball from the A-arm or steering block, screw the IB-414KB1A into the mount, then cycle the suspension to verify clearance through full travel. Confirm there is no binding at the ball base and test drive to observe roll center and camber response before final tightening.
