The Yokomo BD12 is engineered to push handling performance in modern touring classes, lowering the centre of gravity while improving the interplay between pitch and roll. Intended for the 2023-24 competition cycle, the BD12 provides a stable base for precise setup work.
A redesigned motor mount enhances pitching stiffness and functions together with the split upper deck and A.T.F active top deck flex to sharpen corner entry and mid-corner stability. Shock lengths have been shortened and spring holders now use bearings to eliminate spring twist and provide more linear spring action.
The BD12 chassis includes a carbon plate to raise pitching rigidity and a 90T spur for a lower center of mass. Placing the motor forward centralises mass for improved rotation, while a new front shock tower and variable rear shock angle give a wide tuning range for different track surfaces.
The Yokomo BD12 is well suited to racers who prioritise setup flexibility and predictable handling. Its construction makes chassis tuning straightforward for lap time improvements.
