Lightweight Graphite Mount for Better Handling

The Yokomo MD-118-4 Mat Graphite Battery Holder C has been developed for the MD1.0 chassis range to secure batteries with minimum movement. Mat graphite construction offers a neat weight saving without sacrificing rigidity, improving on-track balance.

Practical Benefits of Mat Graphite

Mat graphite lowers the centre of mass while keeping the mount stiff under load, which helps steering response and traction. The holder also features a straightforward installation that makes mid-event battery changes easier.

Chassis Match and Installation Notes

This battery holder is designed specifically for MD1.0 series cars and fits models MDR-010, MDR-010P, MDR-010R, MDR-010A, MDR-020, MDR-020BL, MDR-020P, and MDR-020R. It aligns with the chassis mounting points for a secure, repeatable fit.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Slim LiPo packs that match the MD1.0 envelope will fit, but always double-check length and width against the chassis layout before mounting.
The holder uses the MD1.0 chassis mounting points and standard hardware; retain original screws or use equivalent replacements specified for the MD1.0 range.
Wipe with a dry cloth to remove dust and avoid impact to prevent chipping. Inspect mounting holes regularly for any wear.
You may notice crisper turn-in and more consistent handling due to reduced battery shift and lower weight, especially on high grip tracks.
