Mounting block designed for 1/12 R12

This machined aluminium rear body mount block is built for the Yokomo R12 platform and serves as a direct-scale accessory for 1/12 touring RC cars. It provides a stable anchor point and allows small adjustments to the rear body mounting height for consistent fitment.

Compatibility follows the chassis list supplied with the component. It is intended as a standard replacement on Yokomo R12 and as an option for certain GT-series chassis where the mount geometry is compatible. Always double-check hole spacing and mount alignment before fitting.

  • Supported chassis: GT5-R2 / GT5-RS2 / YR-R12C3 / YR-R12C31 / GT5-R35 / GT5-SC430 / GT3-REA / GT3-IS350 / GT3-B4 / GT3-CAX / GT3-BRZ / GT3-AHP / GT-B

Installation guidance: remove the rear body shell and current mount hardware, perform a test-fit to confirm alignment, then secure the block with even torque. Use the correct hex driver and take care not to over-tighten the screws to protect threads and hardware.

Setup benefit: fitting this block delivers a repeatable rear body reference that helps when testing different shells or making small height changes during tuning sessions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes, the machined aluminium construction is chosen for durability under normal club and track conditions, though avoid impacts that could deform the posts.
In most cases the block uses the existing body post screws; check thread type and length during test-fit and replace screws only if they do not match the hole depth or thread pitch.
Yes, it creates a consistent mounting datum so you can compare how different shells sit and make reliable incremental adjustments to rear body height.
