Purpose and tuning role of the R12 wire stabilizer

Built for the Yokomo R12 front assembly with standard tread width, this wire-type stabilizer trades mass for responsiveness. Its wire construction is deliberately lighter than stamped or solid original bars, so it alters front mass distribution without changing suspension geometry.

The R12-17C lowers the front static load compared to heavier stock bars, which tends to increase initial steering bite and make direction changes feel quicker on circuits with low to medium grip. It is supplied as a tuning component to help you balance understeer and oversteer by modifying front roll resistance.

Fitment notes: this item fits the R12 chassis standard tread width and is intended to replace the factory front stabilizer assembly. Use the R12 front stabilizer mounting points and the stock linkage hardware when fitting the part.
