Durability-focused left hub with counterweight

This item is an RC-scale left rear hub crafted for the Yokomo R12 chassis. By enlarging the left-side hub thickness around the rear shaft, it helps redistribute load between the left and right wheels to promote more uniform traction across the rear axle.

The hub profile is engineered to improve circumferential balance, which lessens irregular wheel wobble and reduces drivetrain losses that may appear at higher speeds. Those improvements can lower stress on related drivetrain parts and contribute to steadier wear patterns when used as part of a well-maintained setup.

Fitment is simple for a standard R12 rear: remove the original left hub, install the R12-24HLC, and confirm that bearings and wheel centring are correct. You will not need specialty tools beyond typical hex drivers and setup gauges, but always recheck fastener torque and clearances after fitting.

Setup note: use this hub alongside tyre choice and suspension adjustments to manage traction and component stress. It is intended to assist overall balance and longevity rather than act as a lone performance fix.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Hub life depends on manufacturing tolerance, material hardness, and correct bearing fit; ensure bearings seat fully and fasteners are torqued to avoid premature wear.
By improving circumferential balance and reducing uneven rotation, the hub can reduce vibration-related losses and take pressure off adjacent components when used correctly.
Inspect the hub, bearings, and fasteners after every few running sessions and clean any debris from the hub area to maintain smooth rotation.
Altering offsets or spacers can shift load paths and increase stress on the hub; check alignment and consider additional inspections if you change geometry.
