Right-side differential hub engineered for YR-R12C3

This right wheel differential hub is designed specifically for the Yokomo YR-R12C3 series chassis. It accepts the differential adjustment cone and integrates a thrust-style bearing at the cone seat to reduce axial loads on the bearing during cornering and when adjusting preload. This reduces stress on internals and helps maintain consistent differential motion over time.

For experienced hobbyists the installation is direct using standard RC tools. The unit replaces the stock right-side wheel differential hub; verify cone preload during assembly and ensure bearings and mating surfaces are clean and lightly greased with an RC-safe lubricant before final tightening.

As a tuning component the thrust-bearing interface helps isolate axial forces, which can stabilise differential response and make traction and turn-in adjustments more predictable on different track surfaces.

Does the thrust bearing require pressing in or does it seat by hand?

The thrust bearing can be fitted using gentle hand methods or a light bearing press. Avoid excessive force; it should seat squarely in the cone area.

Will this hub affect cornering balance?

By reducing axial load at the cone seat the hub can make differential operation more consistent, which helps tuning corner entry and mid-corner balance, though overall balance depends on the full setup.

Is extra lubrication needed after installation?

Apply a light amount of RC-safe grease to the cone seat and bearing during assembly and recheck after initial running; heavy lubrication is not necessary.
