Short graphite rear shaft for R12 Rear Narrow conversions

This short graphite axle is intended for the Yokomo R12 Rear Narrow conversion and is an RC-scale replacement shaft that increases the usable range for rear tread adjustment while leaving the differential geometry unchanged.

Use the axle as part of an R12 conversion assembly when precise rear track tuning is needed; it is meant to work with the conversion differential side wheel hub plus the lower and upper braces included in R12 conversion kits. The axle offers a compact option to modify wheel offset and track width within the narrow rear setup.

Installation notes: the axle replaces the factory rear shaft in R12 Rear Narrow builds and requires standard installation steps for the differential and hub components supplied by the conversion kit. Confirm fit with the conversion hub and braces before final tightening and check clearance across full steering and suspension movement.

Compatible models

  • YR-R12C3
  • YR-R12C31
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Check that your conversion kit or parts list includes support for YR-R12C3 or YR-R12C31 and verify the hub clearance dimensions before assembly.
The axle generally installs with the conversion kit's hub and brace components; review the kit contents to ensure required parts are present.
Before final assembly, rotate the suspension through full travel and check steering sweep to ensure the shorter shaft and hub combo do not contact adjacent parts.
