Front lower arm link extension

This RC-grade aluminium rod end adapter is intended for the front lower arm to provide a longer link option without the added mass of steel replacements. Using aluminium reduces rotating inertia compared with steel rod ends and can alter steering feel and the vehicle's handling balance when applied as part of a setup change.

The unit extends the linkage by 21mm over the standard rod end, allowing a wider track when installed. That additional length permits fine geometry changes at the front lower arm that may help tune mid-corner behavior and initial turn-in.

Fitting is direct for those familiar with standard rod end swaps: remove the original rod end from the front lower arm, install the adapter ensuring correct thread engagement and ball seating, then check alignment of the linkage. Always trial changes progressively and test on a safe surface.
