RD2.0 Slide Rack Steering Upgrade

The Yokomo RD-202SR Slide Rack Set fits the RD2.0 chassis and swaps the conventional steering assembly for a slide-rack style, enabling targeted Ackermann adjustments for drift tuning. The rack is tilted forward to produce sharper steering response and improved predictability during slides.

Sharper Turn-In with Adjusted Ackermann

The forward-leaning design in the RD-202SR enhances Ackermann geometry, which helps maintain cleaner arcs when linking corners. Drivers will notice steadier steering inputs while balancing throttle through a slide.

Installation Advice

During installation of the Yokomo RD-202SR Slide Rack Set, keep the RD2.0 rear-side servo stay supplied with your original kit to preserve proper steering alignment. Perform a post-install check of steering throws and linkage geometry.

Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Can I use this on other drift cars?

This set is tailored to the RD2.0 mounting points and steering layout, so compatibility with other cars will be limited without custom brackets or machining.

What servo specs work best?

A mid to high torque digital servo with good centring is recommended to take full advantage of the RD-202SR steering feel, but standard RD2.0 servo mounts remain usable.

Should I change toe or camber after fitting?

Minor toe adjustments can complement the new rack; check alignment on a setup stand and tweak toe-in for the drift characteristics you prefer.
