On-road progressive spring design

The RP-077 from Yokomo is a progressive-rate spring developed for 1/10 scale touring car dampers. Its changing coil pitch combines a forgiving initial rate with increased stiffness later in travel, useful for smoothing small bumps while supporting heavy compression events.

Finished in black, the springs have the rate laser engraved on the end so you can swap and identify them quickly. A small plastic case is included to protect springs during transport and storage.

Installation follows normal touring car procedures: place the spring inside the damper, check preload and travel limits after fitting, then judge handling changes over multiple laps rather than a single test run.
