Progressive coil springs for refined suspension response

The Yokomo RP-077 Progressive Ultra Shock Spring set utilises a progressive coil form to alter how shocks compress and rebound. As the shock moves deeper the spring rate rises, improving control through mid and deep travel without asserting compatibility to any particular chassis.

Fitting follows regular coil-over procedures: remove the shock cap and spring retainer, swap the factory spring for the progressive unit, then reassemble and check preload and travel. Typical shock tools are all that are required and it is good practice to adjust preload and ride height in small steps while testing handling.

Use these springs when you want gentle initial compliance on small bumps but increased support under heavier compression to reduce bottoming. Match spring selection to your damping setup and the driving surface rather than to vehicle make.
