Stable damping formula for extended service life

This differential lubricant is built around a stable viscous silicone base to regulate traction and rotational smoothness in ball differentials and small gear diffs. The ingredient balance aims to keep damping consistent so setups retain predictable behavior across multiple runs.

In tuning, use the fluid to alter "feel": a heavier viscosity links the diff halves more tightly for increased feedback, while a lighter viscosity reduces resistance for freer spinning. Remember that this product is a tuning fluid and not a mechanical modification, letting you fine-tune differential reaction for competition or practice.

How to apply: add a controlled amount to the ball carriers and race surfaces inside the diff, cycle the mechanism to distribute the lube evenly, then reassemble. Avoid excess fluid because overfilling will shift the damping characteristics. This description treats the product purely as an RC accessory for small-scale differentials.

Maintenance benefit: the formulation is intended to limit rapid decline in performance so differentials can go longer between full disassembly and cleaning, compared with using thin oils.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes. The lube is targeted at ball differentials and small gear diffs typically fitted to 1/10-scale touring and similar RC models.
The formulation helps slow performance loss, which can extend intervals between strip-and-clean procedures compared with very light oils, though regular checks are still recommended.
Use a small applicator or pick to place measured drops onto carriers and races, then operate the diff to work the fluid in. Less is better; you can always add more after testing.
