Durable 4mm graphite rear tower for YZ-4S / B-YZ4SF

The S4-018A is a 4mm graphite rear shock tower intended for 1/10 scale YZ-4 series touring car frames. It functions as a replacement rear mount that influences chassis roll stiffness and camber tendencies during cornering.

Official fitment references B-YZ4SF and YZ-4S variants. When fitting the tower, check that the mounting holes line up with your shock tower posts and retain the original six-point fixings when feasible to keep the intended geometry.

The 4mm graphite construction offers improved stiffness and reasonable impact resistance compared with thinner plates, but like all graphite parts it can fracture under severe loads; inspect after hard impacts.
Graphite needs only routine inspection for hairline cracks and secure fasteners. Replace the tower if you detect any delamination or visible damage.
Minor knocks typically do not cause failure, but high-energy impacts can fracture graphite. Check for integrity before further use and replace if compromised.
Look for hairline cracks around screw holes and along edges, verify flatness, and ensure mounting bolts remain tight. Any sign of cracking means fitment should be stopped until replaced.
