Easy gearbox height adjustment for YZ-4SF

This is an aftermarket RC gearbox height adapter engineered to work with YZ-4SF standard parts and the B-YZ4SF chassis layout. It secures to both ends of the gearbox at the bulkhead so you can alter vertical position without cutting or modifying the chassis or gearbox shell.

Moving the gearbox up or down changes the angle between the universal shaft and the suspension arm / upper arm. Those geometry shifts are an effective way to dial traction and turn-in behaviour via drivetrain alignment rather than by changing springs or damping settings.

Fitting is straightforward on compatible bulkheads: place the adapter on each gearbox end and fasten into the existing bulkhead mounting points, keeping the assembly serviceable with standard RC maintenance.

What tools do I need to fit the S4-302H?

Basic hand tools are all that is required: hex drivers or Allen keys that match your gearbox and bulkhead screws, plus a thread-lock if desired. No special presses or machining are needed.

Do I have to remove the gearbox to install it?

In most cases the adapter can be fitted by opening the bulkhead access and attaching at both gearbox ends, but removing the gearbox can make alignment easier. The design avoids permanent chassis alterations.
