Precision battery mounting for D-Max

The SD-118DM set provides aluminium posts and matching collars intended for the D-Max chassis, replacing stock hardware to create a stable mounting point for the battery pack. That stability helps maintain repeatable placement during setup changes.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the factory posts on the D-Max, install the aluminium posts into the existing mounts, and secure them with the supplied collars, O-rings and flat head screws. The O-rings reduce lateral slack while collar and screw combinations lock the height and lateral position.

For tuning, the kit allows small, controlled moves of battery position and height to alter weight distribution and handling without needing custom brackets. It is designed solely for RC model use and for operators who tweak battery location as part of chassis setup.
