D-MAX chassis aluminium gearbox cover

The SD-302DGC from Yokomo is an aluminium main gear cover produced as a replacement part for the D-MAX platform. Supplied as standard with the D-MAX Special setup, its metal body mates with the motor mount to pull heat away from the motor area and help maintain lower temperatures over extended running.

Fitting is simple when your chassis already accepts D-MAX components: the cover sits over the main gear and uses the existing mounting points, so no drilling or cutting is typically required. As a mild tuning item, it helps reduce temperature swings that can affect motor output during long runs.

In addition to thermal management, the cover tidies the gearbox area and is sold solely as an RC model accessory, not for any full-scale vehicle use.
