Heavy-duty motor mount for D-MAX chassis

This motor mount set is tailored for the D-MAX standard RC chassis and offers a compact, robust assembly that secures and fine-adjusts motor position. The core components are a motor mount and clamp combined with an aluminum motor cam to permit incremental motor placement without altering the chassis.

The SD-304D functions as both a mount and a tuning aid: the assembly keeps the motor held firmly under load while the cam and spring allow controlled fore-aft changes. That construction helps reduce wear from poor engagement and keeps drivetrain loads consistent during lap sessions.

The kit contains the mount, clamp, cam, spring and all necessary screws for installation on a D-MAX standard chassis; fitting requires aligning the cam, clamping the motor, and fastening the supplied button head and countersunk screws.

The mount and clamp are precision-formed for rigidity while the motor cam is machined from aluminum to resist deformation under load, helping maintain consistent motor alignment.
The clamping system and aluminum cam are chosen to minimise movement over time; regular inspection and correct torque on screws will help extend service life under track stresses.
Periodically check clamp tightness and cam position, clean mating surfaces, and replace worn screws to maintain secure fitment and prevent loosening during use.
